Code2Docs is located at our web application platform.

Service Description

Code2Docs provides an AI-powered documentation generation service that integrates with GitHub and analyzes pull requests. Our service allows teams to:

  • Automatically analyze pull requests and code changes
  • Generate contextual documentation based on code analysis
  • Create audience-specific documentation for different stakeholders
  • Track and manage documentation across multiple repositories
  • Access analytics and insights about code changes and documentation

User Accounts and Registration

To use our Service, you must register for an account using your GitHub credentials and connect the repositories you wish to analyze. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Data and Privacy

By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We will access and process content from your connected GitHub repositories only for the purpose of providing our analysis and documentation generation services
  • Your data is isolated from other teams through our multi-tenant architecture
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data
  • You retain ownership of all your content and data

  • Your proprietary code is never used to train or improve third-party AI models

Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee that our service will be available 100% of the time. We may experience:

  • Scheduled maintenance periods
  • Unplanned outages due to technical issues
  • Service interruptions due to third-party dependencies (including GitHub API)

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance and work to minimize service disruptions.

AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses large language models (LLMs) and semantic analysis technology to generate documentation based on your code changes. Our AI processing pipeline works as follows:

  • We analyze pull request diffs and code changes using semantic analysis
  • Retrieved content is processed by large language models to generate contextual documentation
  • Your data is never used to train AI models
  • Your team's data is completely isolated and never mixed with other teams' information

You acknowledge and understand that:

  • AI-generated documentation may not always be accurate or complete
  • You should verify important information from the original source code
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated documentation
  • The AI may occasionally generate documentation that doesn't fully represent the source material
  • Your proprietary code is never used to improve or train third-party AI models

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). Nothing in this disclaimer will:

  1. 1. limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
  2. 2. limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  3. 3. limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
  4. 4. exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

The limitations and exclusions of liability set out in this Section and elsewhere in this disclaimer: (a) are subject to the preceding paragraph; and (b) govern all liabilities arising under the disclaimer or in relation to the subject matter of this disclaimer, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort (including negligence) and for breach of statutory duty.

Termination

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
