GitHub App Data

When you use our GitHub App, we may collect:

  • GitHub user ID and repository information
  • Pull request content for analysis and documentation generation
  • Repository metadata and file contents (only for selected repositories)
  • Analysis results and generated documentation
  • Usage analytics and performance metrics

Connected Repository Data

When you connect repositories to our Service, we collect:

  • OAuth authorization tokens (securely encrypted)
  • Selected repository content for analysis and documentation generation
  • User preferences for data synchronization and analysis settings

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
  • To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.

  • To process analyses: To analyze pull requests and generate documentation using AI analysis of your connected repositories.

AI Data Processing

When processing your pull requests and generating documentation, we use the following approach to ensure your data privacy and security:

  • Semantic analysis technology to understand code changes and their impact
  • Large language models (LLMs) to generate contextual documentation based on code analysis
  • Complete data isolation ensuring your information is never mixed with other teams' data
  • Your proprietary code and data is never used to train, improve, or enhance third-party AI models

Multi-Tenant Data Isolation

We implement strict multi-tenant data isolation to ensure that Your team's data is completely separate from other teams' data. Your GitHub repositories, analysis results, and usage analytics are isolated and accessible only to members of your team.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
